We have 10 animals and Farmington Veterinary Hospital always gives our babies their best. They’re accessible, caring, accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful. We recently called because our dog had some facial swelling and they got us right in, turned out it was a tooth infection and they were so kind and compassionate with Chester and myself. The way the staff gets right on their level, speaks calmly and kindly to the animals, respects their personalities and temperaments, it honestly chokes me up. We were in and out with what we needed. They also always follow up to check in on your animal after a visit, it feels good to have such an incredible vet staff in your corner. ♥️
I’ve been coming here with different pets ever since my family moved to the rochester area back in 2013 . Every time I come here they are nothing but nice and understanding. There’s been a few times i was 5-10 minutes late to an appointment and they were understanding. They’re never pushing you to have your pet get a service but they always make sure they bring things to your attention that could benefit the pet. Today I noticed a penny sized open wound on my cats chin and called the office and was able to get in within a few hours this office always goes above and beyond my expectations!
I took my 11 year old Great Pyrenees "Sugar" to be euthanized last evening. The Vet Tech and the DVM (sorry, I didn't write down your names) were very gentle with "Sug". She dwindled neurogically for 3-4 weeks and then over 5-6 days crashed. I had little sleep and a stressful week so I was a mess
The DVM even picked her up (110-120 lbs) and carried her from the car into the treatment area. They were wonderful, and the support I had from my son in iaw, who carried her from my living room to the car) and the 2 staff people helped me not bawl like a baby until I got in my car.. I'm an R.N. with 45 years experience and know the diff. between caring hearts and going through the motions ( for us and them )of an already stressful experience
Staff is always suoer helpful, friendly and attentive with all my dogs espcially rocco. He had an amputation done which was not that expensive. Prices are very fair for all the services and medications. Very caring and sypmathetic staff. Rocco has cancer and his time is limited and everyone is helping me to make sure hes as comfortable as possible and as they can make him and I can't thank them enough for that. I highly reccomend this vet. I'm a permanent client. Even if I moved 2 hrs away I'd commute to them. They genuinely care about your pets and not the money which I love.
The Brannan family would like to say thank you to Dr. Eck, Dr. Nicholson, Dr. Baas, Jody, Laurie, Alex, Jean and everyone who so lovingly cared for our little girl and helped her to the rainbow bridge. Your discreet and private approach gave us the time we needed, and was the most beautiful gift you could give us. As hard as it was, she was never scared and I was able to hold her the whole time. You will not find more compassion, skill or love than right here. We will grieve our loss of our princess until we meet again. Thank you just doesn’t seem to be enough.
